About the founder
Ferkat Jawdat
"I build tests that can actually fail."
Founder and principal consultant. Ten-plus years hardening UI, API, and data validation for federal and enterprise programs — now doing the same for production AI systems. Every metric on this site is his delivered work; every engagement gets his direct involvement alongside a hand-picked senior team.
Living resume — always current · full history and downloadable resumeThe philosophy
Most automated suites pass without proving anything.
The failure nobody reports is the test that goes green without checking anything. An assertion that cannot fail is not a test — it's a receipt. On a recent enterprise suite he audited every assertion for falsifiability, deleted the ones that could never go red, and replaced them with grounded checks. Defect detection went up. The pass rate went down first — which is the correct direction.
Generated tests make this worse, not better. He uses AI heavily for authoring, migration, and triage — and never lets it decide what counts as verified. That line is where teams are about to get hurt, and it's the foundation of every framework VVS builds.
Track record
Ten years, mostly on systems that cannot quietly break.

Lead Test Automation Engineer & Quality Architect
- Built an AI validation program for public-facing assistants — accuracy, hallucination, bias, security, and safety with DeepEval, MLflow 3, garak, and PyRIT.
- Architected a YAML-driven Databricks medallion validation framework from zero requirements: 150+ tables, 40+ validation types per table, 90%+ coverage gating CI/CD.
- Delivered 5 Salesforce Lightning frameworks in 14 months via AI-augmented migration — coverage up 50% with zero loss, 97% pass rate, 3 client teams trained who still extend them.
- Modernized legacy Selenium + TestNG to Playwright with Cucumber BDD in Java 17 across 10 enterprise applications.
- Cut an ETL validation cycle from 5 days to 6 hours — 16M+ rows validated daily on PySpark + EMR.
Senior SDET
- Rebuilt a Selenium/Cucumber framework: pass rate 30% → 97%, runtime down 80%+.
- Expanded coverage 125% while building GitLab CI pipelines with Docker and Allure.
- Led JMeter performance testing; resolved critical API latency and timeout failures.
- Ran Section 508 accessibility testing and remediation.
QA Manager · Automation Lead · Performance Architect
- Designed full-stack automation for UI, API, and database validation across regulatory workflows; mentored the engineers who ran it.
- Performance architect during enrollment surges — modeled load and stress for 250%+ traffic increases.
- Led IV&V for regulatory reporting systems on Jenkins pipelines; built ETL validation with FitNesse, DbFit, and PostgreSQL.

Built, not just tested
He ships software too.
ForgeQA
An AI-native test automation platform: migration wizard for Gherkin/Cypress/Playwright suites, AI debug agent, live locator suggestions via Playwright MCP, role-based dashboard, Allure reporting — built for federal compliance.
EnChaptered
An AI storybook generator for children aged 2–8. Designed, built, and shipped solo — Next.js, Gemini API, deployed on Vercel with real users.
And the assessment assistant on this site? Built and tested in-house — it runs the same three-layer verdict we sell.
